Gift Bags for the People’s Pantry

This Year, Pocklington & District Lions are helping the People Pantry in Pocklington & Market Weighton by sponsoring advent bags. The project is organised by good friends of the Lions Keith & Bernadette. The theme this year is the 12 days of Christmas and each bag contains 12 Christmas gifts donated by residents. It’s amazing how generous local residents are when asked to help

Race Night

We helped the Pocklington Wine Circle organise an enjoyable Race Night, at Burnby Hall, raising money for local charities, with our newly renovated race equipment. Many thanks to Lion Graham and the Men in Sheds for the renovation and to Lion Steve who ensured “fair play”. 👍

New President for 2025/6

Lion John Finn accepted the chain of office from Past President John Eeles,  and is our new President for 2024/25. At a handover lunch at the Bay Horse Market Weighton yesterday. Congratulations John!
