Pocklington Community Junior School Art Competition

Members of Pocklington Lions Club recently continued their initiative to improve their relationship with Pocklington Community Junior School.

Following funding equipment for the use of the younger children, Pocklington Lions, together with teacher Callum White organised an art competition for years 3 & 4.

The entries were judged by Lions John Eeles and Bernadette Dillon and last week prizes of boxes of art materials were presented to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each of the years.

See photo of some of the winners and their excellent pictures of Lions.

A letter congratulating all 100 participants in the competition was also sent to the school by Lion President John Eeles.
Pocklington Lions Club look forward to improving their relationship with the school, hence expanding their work in the local community.
