Pocklington District Lions Club
serving the local community worldwide
It was good to see some of our our mobility scooter users get together. We all met for scrumptious tea at the The Lilypad Café and, of course, a chat as we enjoyed an afternoon in Burnby Gardens.
Many thanks to the Management and Staff of Burnby Gardens for a great afternoon
I just wanted to pass on a big thank you to you all at the Pocklington Lions Club on behalf of everyone at Martin House. We have just received the beautiful red tricycle you so kindly donated to us and we are so very grateful. I have attached a photograph of one of our Nurses trying it out with a member of the Care team! They are extremely excited to take it out into our gardens and introduce some of the children to it.
Once again thank you so very much for your support. It is, as always, very much appreciated.
Kind regards

Volunteering makes a huge difference in local communities. Our most valuable commodity is PEOPLE! Without new members, our ability to help our community will reduce significantly over time, putting many on-going projects in jeopardy.
