Hand over 2024 – New President
We enjoyed a handover lunch at JJ’s Allerthorpe where Lion John Eeles accepted the chain of office and is the new club president for 2024/25. Grateful thanks were extended to Lion Lynda for holding the role for the last 2 years.
Quiz Night – October 5, 2023
We had fun and a super quiz night at the football club last Thursday and raised £425 for the Lions. Gerry Wareham’s team won the quiz. Many thanks to our quizmaster John, for setting the quiz and making it fun, thanks to Gebs and Jackie on the bar and a special thanks to Julie and Sue for organising, preparing and serving the food.
A few memories from our Charter Dinner in November 2022.
We celebrated 60 years since the club was founded at the Manor Rooms at Drewtons near South Cave on Friday 18 November at 7.00pm. A goodnight was had by all.

We continually strive to have fun whilst serving the community with new events being planned for many years to come. The Covid-19 pandemic has meant many ideas were placed on the back burner but these will be reactivated over the months ahead. Kicking off with a quiz in March 2022 we have more planned for the rest of the year.
